A celebration of winter in the city centre including large-scale projections, giant lanterns, live music, dancers, stilt walkers, aerial performance, food trucks and hundreds of children carrying lanterns. This is a beautiful event with a strong heart.

The Lantern Workshops will be held on the four weekends leading up to the main Midwinter Carnival event. This is a great way for families to enjoy a creative activity together and get involved at the main event.
