Performers

Dance and music is a vital part of the Carnival helping to bring the Procession to life in a spectacular way. In 2019 there were a record 150 performers in the Carnival Procession. The diverse range included professional performers, community groups, secondary and primary schools. Many were costumed by our highly skilled Carnival Art Team who produce dozens of bespoke costumes while our Performance Coordinator works with performers to develop routines and to provide support.
